Regional Achievement Collaborative (RAC)
A regional achievement collaborative (RAC) is an agreement between a collective group of individuals and organizations, in partnership with OEIB. The agreement establishes that members of a region from across the P-20 spectrum will convene, work together in identifying underlying problems afflicting education, and potential opportunities to identify a solution, then build it out and implement it in the region.
The InterMountain Education Service District is a regional RAC, with partnerships with numerous educational, health and safety organizations throughout Umatilla, Morrow and Union counties. These organizations include Eastern Oregon University, Blue Mountain Community College, Greater Oregon Behavioral Health Inc. (GOBHI), Blue Mountain Early Learning HUB Collaborative, regional K-12 school districts, Umatilla Wraparound Collaborative, Umatilla County Commissioners, Morrow County Commissioners, Union County Commissioners, Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR), Oregon Department of Human Services, Head Start, community libraries, and the EOU Regional Solutions Center.
InterMountain ESD RAC serves as a mentor RAC for the Willamette, Southern Oregon and Douglas ESD RACs.
