Our Goals

The IMESD Board of Directors established the following goals for 2015-2017:

1. Advance Blue Mountain Early Learning Hub goals to ensure all students are ready for Kindergarten and meeting 3rd Grade reading proficiency.

Health – Establish regional oral health program.

Safety – Expand regional parent education and system navigator programs.

Education – Expand Professional Learning Team (PLT) model.'

2. Improve teacher quality to increase student achievement.

Teachers and Administrators – Systematize ELC and Instructional Coaching model.

School Boards – Create Eastern Oregon Board Network (EOBN).

3. Increase CTE and Workforce Development opportunities for high school students.

CTE Pathways – Implement 3 regional pathways (Business, Agriculture, and Manufacturing) through Eastern Promise platform.

4. Promote/support training for mobile learning to increase student achievement.

Teachers – Create a comprehensive professional development program for component districts purchasing mobile technology.
