6/11/2013	Career Choices - Eastern Promise Training for Teachers	Eastern Promise will be offering a two-day Career Choices training for teachers, June 11-12, in Hermiston. This workshop will provide the training, curriculum and materials to implement the Success 101 course this fall for your freshmen.
6/17/2013	Eastern Promise PLC Training Session	Eastern Promise will be offering a three-day training, June 17-19, in La Grande, for all continuing PLC members and those wishing to join for the 2013-2014 school year. If you are unable to attend, but are interested in participating in Eastern Promise please contact Jen Jenson at jjenson@eou.edu.

6/26/2013	Oregon Intervention System (OIS) Training	Oregon Intervention System (OIS) is a wonderful training for all staff who work with students who are struggling behaviorally. During the 2 days we will discuss executive functioning, cognitive development, common disabilities, the cycle of a meltdown, and tons of strategies to help you understand and work with students with varying backgrounds. Connections to PBIS. The second half of day 2 includes restraint technique. By attending both full days, participants will receive a 2-year certification.

8/23/2013	"The Grade Doctor" presents Grading and Reporting for Learning	Ken O'Connor, a.k.a. "The Grade Doctor" will present an all-day session on Grading and Reporting for Learning on August 23, 2013. During this session you will learn 15 "fixes" for grades and 11 guidelines for reporting that ensure quality grading and reporting that supports learning.
