GRANT OPPORTUNITIES

The Blue Mountain Early Learning Hub supports local programs, agencies and School Districts each year with grants to provide services, improve quality and support early learning efforts.  There are two main types of grants that the Hub provides: Community Grants and Quality Improvement Grants.

Community Grants: are aimed at helping local initiatives start up, expand services and reach families that otherwise might not be served. Application deadlines are on a quarterly basis.

Quality Improvement Grants: This grant is aimed at improving child care provider environments. Providers must be registered or licensed with the state, and working with CCR&R to move up on the Spark rating system. Application deadlines are on a quarterly basis.

Kindergarten Transition and Family Engagement Grant: Limited funding is available to support Kindergarten Registration activities and provide family engagement events for incoming Kindergarten students.

Travel Grant for Professional Development: This grant is to support private child care staff in attending conferences and trainings that are more than 100 miles from their work. Applicants may apply up to $250 per biennium (July '23-June '25) for reimbursement for travel and lodging. See application for more information regarding eligibility and process.
