The Medicaid program provides services in Medicaid Administrative Claiming and Medicaid Fee for Services to districts throughout the region. This provision generates resources to local districts and internal programs.

The Department of Human Services has contracted with the ESD to provide:

1. education and training of Medicaid programs

2. development and implementation of monitoring protocols for the purpose of improving and ensuring compliance with education and Medicaid state and federal law

3. collaboration with state agencies and LEAs with Medicaid in order to develop policy and practice guidelines for Public Education Based Medicaid Programs
