The mission of the Wellness Hubs is integrating health and education to empower students and families to be healthy and ready to learn. Wellness Hubs are a joint initiative between the IMESD and other agencies in the region.

• Increased collaboration between community agencies and schools

• Decrease in unmet healthcare needs of students

• Promotion of healthy lifestyle choices through comprehensive health education

• Increased school attendance, increased 3rd Grade Reading rate, increased high school graduation rate
