Fall 2023 Update
What’s New
ODE is increasing its support and access to adopted instructional materials. Keep an eye on their High Quality Instructional Materials website for new information once the State Board approves the recommended adoptions list at their October meeting. Planned ODE support includes the types of resources that InterMountain provided for the ELA and Math adoptions such as: Links to access digital samples for the adopted curricula, Virtual Publisher Q&A sessions and a Webinar Series related to best practices for adoption and Science instruction. We will house these ODE and add other resources in our Science Curriculum Toolkit. ODE’s work in this area will allow us to rethink how best to supplement your adoption efforts. We welcome your input! Please share this update with your curriculum adoption team members so your research process can begin in earnest.

Who: Administrators and staff involved in science curriculum adoption

Time: 3:30 – 4:15
Topic: This meeting is intended to create a space for educators to discuss and share their ideas pertaining to this year’s science adoption. Districts will have an opportunity to share what they are choosing to adopt and how their respective selections will potentially meet the needs of their schools and students. Educators will have an opportunity to interact and ask questions of others
