In this workshop, you’ll:
- consider the progression of standards K-12 and how your courses (and curriculum adoption) fit into each domain
- We’ll kick things off with a chance to “live” the new k-12 data reasoning strand.
- Then we’ll dive into the habits that promote a diversity of student reasoning and discourse across grade-level mathematics
- Finally, we’ll survey a selection of tasks (from approved curricula) to see how they might promote mathematical thinking
