📚🍎 July-August OTREN Recap: Empowering Excellence in Education! 🌟📝
What an incredible journey it's been over the past couple of months with the Oregon Trail Regional Educator Network (OTREN)! 🚂✨ Our commitment to fostering excellence in education has shone brightly through a series of enriching events and training sessions. Here's a glimpse into our action-packed summer:
🌟 Danielson Evaluation Training: On August 7th, we had the privilege of hosting 15 dedicated educators in Hermiston for an enlightening Danielson Evaluation Training. This framework for excellence in education is paving the way for transformative teaching experiences across participating districts including Echo, Baker, Hermiston, and IMESD. Together, we're raising the bar for educational excellence!
📍 Regional Coaches Huddle: A powerful exchange of insights and strategies took place on August 18th in Pendleton, where 8 participants from IMESD and Morrow County gathered for a collaborative session. The future of education looks bright in the hands of such passionate educators!
🖊️ Writing Strategies with Yolanda Westerberg: From August 15th to 17th in Pendleton, 23 participants from Pendleton, LaGrande, Athena-Weston, Reynolds, North Powder, Helix, and Milton-Freewater came together to explore innovative writing strategies under the expert guidance of Yolanda Westerberg. The impact of this shared knowledge will resonate through classrooms far and wide.
🌞 Summer Series Professional Development: Our Summer Series was a resounding success, featuring a staggering 29 session offerings in July and August. With a total of 142 participants from diverse districts including Pendleton, Athena-Weston, LaGrande, Reynolds, North Powder, Helix, Ione, Milton-Freewater, Pine Eagle, Baker, IMESD, Pilot Rock, Stanfield, Echo, and Imbler, the collaborative spirit of our educational community shines brightly.
📅 Upcoming Events: The momentum continues into September with exciting events on the horizon! Join us for the Administrator Collaborative Gathering on September 6th in LaGrande and Pendleton (4:30-6:30 pm), followed by the Danielson Evaluation Training in LaGrande on September 21st (8-3), and the MTSS Training Day #1 @ BMCC on September 29th (9-3:30 pm).
