Stacey Wainwright of Ione School District has added a role to her regular teaching schedule. The IMESD has hired Stacey as a Dyslexia Consultant. Stacey comes to us with a Level 1 certification from the Dyslexia Training Institute of San Diego. This was not an easy task as it entailed classes for 6 months, a 50-lesson practicum with one-on-one student time, and many more follow-up courses to continue her education.
Stacey can be a resource for districts with any questions or concerns about Dyslexia. We want to thank Stacey for taking on this project to help students and districts with Dyslexia support.
