Dave Fowler was named the region's 2025 Career Technical Education Teacher of the Year by the Region 12 CTE Consortium. Fowler was surprised with the award during an all-school assembly at Heppner Junior/Senior High School on December 16th, 2025.

Caitlin Russell, IMESD's Regional CTE Coordinator had this to say about the 2025 Awardee:

"Dave Fowler is the kind of leader you lean on. His guidance has shaped CTE across our region and strengthened TSA programs statewide, always with students at the center. Dave turns big ideas into real opportunities that help students grow, compete, and succeed long after they leave his classroom."

Congratulations, Dave!
