SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY & BEHAVIORAL SERVICES

A woman and a child are seated at a table, working together.

The School Psychology & Behavioral Services department partners with school teams to support the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success of students across our component districts. Serving school-aged children from kindergarten through age 21, our staff assist with comprehensive evaluations for both initial and re-evaluation purposes and work with school teams in developing systems of behavioral and academic supports.

As collaborative members of multidisciplinary teams, our staff contribute to the evaluation process and support data-driven decision making for special education eligibility, while recognizing that these decisions are made collectively by the school team.

In addition to school-based services, we work closely with community partners to connect students and families with additional resources and supports when needed.
